B-PREIMMUN is a project under the National Action "Research – Create – Innovate" (2nd Cycle) within the framework of the NSRF (National Strategic Reference Framework), co-funded by the European Union [Operational Program "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation" (EPAnEK) Management Authority, Special Management and Implementation Authority for Research, Technological Development, and Innovation Actions (EYDE ETaK)]. The main objective of B-PREIMMUN is to evaluate combinatorial molecular and immunological biomarkers in blood for selecting patients for immunotherapy. These biomarkers include pre-existing immunity (PA), TCR-Vβ clonality of CD8+ T cells, and blood tumor mutational burden (bTMB). The dynamics of these biomarkers and their combinations will be assessed based on changes observed in sequential blood samples. The study focuses on patients with unresectable, PD-L1 (+), stage III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) undergoing maintenance therapy with durvalumab (ICI; anti-PDL1) after definitive concurrent chemo-/radiotherapy as part of standard clinical practice.
